The Secret Lives of Men is a new-to-me podcast - related to other recent posts, this one looks at the new "male studies" movement, which suggests that men's studies is just a suburb of women's studies, and therefore essentially useless.

The host, Chris Blanzia, is author of The Cultural Myth of Masculinity, The Secret Lives of Men: What Men Want You to Know About Love, Sex, and Relationships, and the forthcoming book, An International Psychology of Men.

Description: Male Studies: A Consortium of Scholars.

Leading scholars concerned about today's men and boys recently convened at Wagner College on Staten Island to plan for a new
academic discipline at the university level: Male Studies. It encompassed a broad range of topics relevant to the study of boys and men in contemporary society ranging from their roles in the family and workforce, as well as their physical and emotional health. Join our guest Miles Groth Ph.D. for this discussion.
